What Does this Ultrasound Result Mean?
Today our Doc ran an ultrasound on my wife s (45yr) liver/abdomen region. She was informed the scan showed a shadow area between her liver and spleen. Doc scheduled her for a second scan (MRI or Sonogram) not sure which she said. Either way how concerned should be the shadow between her liver and spleen could be a tumor/cancer ?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to allergic reaction from some thing you have exposed. In that case taking anti histamines like cetrizine ( zyrtec ) and applying hydrocortisone cream for local application will be helpful.
